We are looking for collaborators and partners to help us in our mission to incite discourse about our Graphic Design practices. There are numerous ways to contribute through, collaboration, donation, partnership or sponsorship.

Graphic Design Educators’ Network is a new, unique and dynamic community of academics and practitioners that is passionate about and dedicated to the advancement of graphic design education in the UK and beyond.
Our committee and membership are drawn from over 30 institutions across the United Kingdom. We are devoted to excellence in learning and teaching in Graphic Design.
What are our credentials?
- Leadership: Our network is lead by a committee of experienced, highly respected and successful design educators whose expertise and interests cover all facets of graphic design education, practice, enterprise and research.
- Direction: Our organisation is new, unique and vibrant, with the benefit of being built on a heritage of outstanding research projects and learning & teaching and research projects initiatives by our founding members that demonstrate both our direction of travel and importantly our historic ability to deliver.
- Expertise: Our members are subject experts in the field of Graphic Design: leading educators, professional practitioners, design researchers and writers.
- Representation: We are the only academic lead subject association for Graphic Design related courses in the UK.
Our membership includes leading institutions from all four corners of the United Kingdom: from Edinburgh to Bournemouth, from Cardiff to Norwich.
We have representation and influence across a variety of industry and higher education networks nationally and internationally.
Who attends our events?
Our first symposium and launch event in Salford (September 2015), welcomed over 100 tutors from 30 higher and further education institutions representing over 60 courses and more than 6,000 students. Our second annual event in Cardiff (Septermber 2016) sold out with more than 100 delegates from across the UK and Europe. We also anticipate post-graduate, under-graduate and college student representation at our events too.

Our progressive membership meets to network, share ideas, critique practice and foster partnerships for collaboration. Our events provide unique opportunities for this influential network to discuss their current and future practice.
