As Principal Lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication Design at Northumbria University, Jamie’s roles span Learning and Teaching of Graphic and Interaction Design, Research and Innovation, and Business and Engagement. In the latter, he leads on the strategic development and operational management of live projects, initiatives and partnerships.

His teaching, research, writing and consultancy is concerned with the intersection of business, design, education and technology. Recent consultancy with design and tech start-ups has helped to create compelling business propositions.
